Hackensack University Medical Center has received Full Accreditation as an American College of Surgeons 1A Bariatric Surgery Center.
Patients covered with Medicare can now undergo Bariatric Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center with full coverage.
Dr. Ballantyne participates in Medicare.
Medicare will cover both:
1) Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass and
2) Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding (Lap Band).
